If you've been following the seemingly endless series of spy photos of the next-generation Kia Sorento, then you're not alone. Everyone here at Taylor Kia, serving Toledo, Detroit and Cleveland has been keeping an eye on the latest forthcoming addition to the new Kia lineup with great anticipation.

First, pictures of a heavily-camouflaged Kia crossover doing laps around the Nurburgring surfaced, then shots of a slightly less covered model on a slightly more leisurely stroll. And while we were left to our own devices in analyzing these shots, we're happy to say that the latest rounds of 2014 Sorento pictures come with new information from Kia.

That's right, the South Korean automaker has finally officially announced the vehicle that we've been spying on for so long now. So what's been confirmed in the new model?

2014 Kia Sorento Changes Include

A redesigned front-end grill

  • LED headlamps
  • 19-inch alloy wheels
  • A new LCD instrument cluster
  • A redesigned center stack with seven-inch display
  • Models with an automatic transmission will feature a straight-gate selector with a leather-booted lever
  • And more to be announced in the near future

"We have given very careful attention to owners' feedback," says Kia Executive Vice President & COO of the International Business Division, Thomas Oh. "The upgraded Sorento is not just a cosmetic exercise but a major step forward for our popular SUV."1

And it's one step forward that Taylor Kia, located at 6300 W Central Avenue, Toledo, OH 43615 can't wait to make. That said, we invite you to stay tuned for more on the 2014 Kia Sorento, as we're dedicated to keeping you up to date from now until it arrives on our lot.
