Kia has professed a desire to create a standard that all their car repair specialists can live up to.   This effort has led the company to offer testing some of their top master technicians' skills by hosting the Kia Skill National Cup at Kia Motors America headquarters in Irvine, California.  This is good news for Kia owners who return to get their vehicle serviced at Taylor Kia.  You will pleased with the skill level and honesty that our Kia service team has to offer.

The competition requires all Kia technicians to stay up to date with the latest new Kia technology, including everything from engines, electronics and Kia parts.  This bi-annual event selects 16 service techincians form each south, east, central and west regions of the United States.  The winners will advance to the Kia Skill World Cup which will be held in Korea June 11th through the 15th.  Qualifying for the completion consists of completing a 50 question online questionnaire pertaining to servicing Kias, from engines to electronics and Kia parts.

The competition requires all Kia technicians to stay up to date with the latest new Kia technology.  The participants used many new Kia vehicles, including the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid to help them complete their challenge.  They were judged not only on their knowledge of servicing cars, but on their customer service skills, professionalism and clean-up skills.
