Whether or not you're a personal fan of the Kia Soul hamsters, there's no denying the fact that those hip-hopping rodents have certainly captured consumers' attention over the years. Back in 2011, the "Share Some Soul" installment garnered an unbelievable 20 million views making it the third most-watched auto ad on YouTube of all time.

Yep. There's no doubt about it. Those hamsters know how to sell the Soul.

Over a month ago, Kia announced that pop-culture lovers and media gurus could start getting excited as the latest commercial touting the 2013 Kia Soul was already on its way. Well, the moment has arrived and Taylor Kia at 6300 W Central Avenue, Toledo, OH has spotted the latest hamster adventure before it even hits mainstream TV.

Continuing in the fashion of blending the Kia Soul urban crossover with pop culture favorites of the time, the new Kia hamster commercial features electric dance music and a laser light show. Oh, and an 18th opera house and time travel...confused yet?

Playing on the notion that the Soul breaks convention and provides "a new way to roll," the ad entitled, "Bringing Down the House" shows an audience of upscale 18th century citizens viewing a traditional opera performance. That is until the Soul and hamsters arrive. Rising from the center stage, the funky auto and its team of furry friends turns the opera house into a raving party before blasting off into the future.

As you can imagine, this latest ad is well-positioned to follow in the footsteps of its precursors and draw in the coveted Gen Y demographic of consumers.

Regardless of what your choice new Kia model might be, Taylor Kia encourages enthusiasts in the Toledo area to keep an eye out for the 2013 Kia Soul ad when it premiers next month. Then, be sure to comment and let us know what you think.
